SCOUT Unique Innovations

Our way of doing things, of challenging everything that seems to be given lead us through the process of developing and building one of the most innovative and beautiful engineered paramotors out there.

We have introduced some new features never seen before, simple and efficient ones, Scout Unique Innovations!

Smarter Pilot

The backstage of paramotor research, design, engineering, testing—failing 5 times to succeed once—Scout improvements.

Dynamic Torque Compensation

Our main SCOUT unique innovation is torque compensation. It is the obvious difference between the SCOUT and other paramotors. It is something you recognize at first sight and you feel on the first flight.  This is a game-changing innovation.

Please be sure you clearly understand the difference between Acceleration Torque and Continuous Torque. Both have the same effect (a tendency to turn to one side) but happen in different situations and have a different cause.

carbon fiber is strong, light, and easy to repair

Why not Carbon Fiber?

For many decades paramotor frames were build from steel or aluminum round tubes.

Why? That’s yesterday’s technology. Why not Carbon Fiber?

Light, strong, and malleable enough to shape it into aerodynamic structures—carbon fiber was the obvious choice with which to build the Scout Carbon Paramotor.

Injury prevention.

The SafeStart system is a small computer that monitors the revolutions of the engine. In case the RPM increases suddenly right after starting the engine, this device will instantly shut the engine off.

All we want is to keep you safe, so SafeStart comes standard with every SCOUT paramotor. That is what we do in SCOUT, Scout Unique Innovations!

Hybrid bars

For those who want more weight shift authority and active piloting control we have designed the Hybrid Bars.

Unique attachment points allow left to right movement of the risers as low as possible, giving to the pilot plenty of authority while front to back movement is restricted by the triangle design of the main strap—holding the carabiners in the thrust line all the time.

Pilots with free-flying background will love them.

Reclined and comfortable in flight position

Geometry is the key behind the amazing feel of the paramotor.
All those little details that are so important for the feel in flight.
Propeller perfectly vertical and close to your body
for maximum thrust and minimal gyroscopic effect

Do you want even more comfort?

Yes, that is possible!

We have completely redesigned the main frame of the Scout Carbon paramotor NXT.

The new variable frame geometry keeps your back perfectly parallel on the ground allowing you to straighten up and having a great view into your glider.  Once airborne the frame geometry changes to give you a nice reclined angle for your comfort. Magic!

Carbon back plate for extra layer of protection

The ergonomically shaped carbon protection shield distributes the impact on a larger surface and prevents damaged frame tubes injuring your spine.

Scout Carbon Paramotor spherical spar/cage joints

We designed the ball joint connection between our aerodynamic spars and hoop for easy assembly and disassembly, yet strong enough to withstand multi-directional forces.

Scout engineering strives to be simple and efficient.

Improvement inspired by you

Reinforcement brackets.

Our fiend and customer Jean Francoise installed a set of reinforcement tubes on his SCOUT to make it more sturdy for his 6000 mile paramotor adventure.

Inspired by his solution, we have made it even better.  They increase the stiffness and rigidity of the frame. We recommend these for schools and beginners. We also recommend this extra support for pilots who use their SCOUT with a trike or transport on a hitch rack.

We call them beef tubes and they are avaìlable in our eshop now.

Thank you for helping us to innovate further—It’s about Scout innovations

Yes, we know the SCOUT is not perfect. In fact, it will never be. We believe research, engineering, and design is an infinite process.

Some of the best ideas sometimes come from the enthusiastic customers like you. Please share them with us to innovate the SCOUT paramotors even further.

Lets make some Scout improvements.
